A Walk in the Park

Time for a trip to Saugatuck!

We took a run in the park.

Canadian geese floated in the water.

Dolce ran around, excited.

She and I had all kinds of new things to explore.

Brooklyn doesn't get out much. His fur is so soft. Felicia thinks he looks like a caterpillar.

Dolce is hap-hap-happy!

Spring Walk

Let's take a walk.

I'm ready.

Let's go!

What are we waiting for?

So many things to sniff and see!

Any rabbits nearby like last time?

Whassup?

Golfers! It's cold out, and Felicia is wearing her winter jacket, gloves, and earmuffs, but these guys are game!

That was a long walk. Hold me, I can't make it all the way back home.

Dinner at Prime 112: The Flower Photos

Prime 112. The restaurant with our favorite bread basket.

Previously, Takashi had photographed the arrangement in the entrance of Prime 112.

Takashi, the pro, took this shot...

And this....

But the next night, it was time for dinner...with me...on Prime 112's patio.

All is well!

Dinner at Prime 112

A beautiful Miami sky.

Birds in their place.

Drinking by the pool.

We walk under this tree on our way to the restaurant.

Takashi and India and I are in the lobby of Prime 112, ready to go.
Till tomorrow,

Dolce the Chinese Crested

We're taking a temporary break from Florida to show you Dolce Bear's awkward adolescence!

Dolce as a darling baby sitting on the bed of her Chicago hotel.

And a few weeks later, just as a human infant often loses its hair, she temporarily loses her thick bushy coat!

And combined with tear stains...she looks like she's had a rough night!

Our scraggly adolescent still wants to play, though!

And a girl needs her beauty sleep.

Finally, one day, the ugly duckling wakes up to see herself turn into the MOST beautiful swan!
Way to go, Dolce!

Love, Maia

The Setai, The Room

We visited the serene one-bedroom suite.

It was sweet.

It had a kitchen. Felicia cooking on vacation? As if! The mini-bar was a Sub Zero filled with wine, chocolates and milk. An espresso machine awaited use at breakfast.

Setai staff even brought biscuits and Evian for me. Felicia put the Evian in the fridge and poured me tap water. She must think I'm spoiled enough.

2006 Starmont Merryvale Merlot, four sugar-dusted homemade French chocolate truffles and four perfect Fuji apples awaited us.

Along with the ubiquitous signature roses...

We took in the view and headed for the beach.

P.S. Thanks to Takashi for all photos.

Checking out The Setai

We took one last look at the view, then...

...took our keys and headed to...

...the lobby.

Takashi and I sat down and waited.

Then I stopped to smell the roses.

Felicia tried on India's sunglasses.

And then we found a chaise at the pool.
Till tomorrow,
Love, Maia
P.S. Thanks to Takashi for all photos except Felicia's.
