Add Studd CEO Marc Haynes has just completed his first non-shoe Add Stud clothing item: India's denim skirt.
Add Stud's philosophy is to fashion-up basic items with studs...Add Studs!
This skirt took approximately four hours, with Marc manually pushing each prong through the fabric and bending them on the other side for long wear.
Marc has more clothing and shoe styles in the works for his Fall 2010 collection, while he completes his Master's Degree in Global Fashion Management from FIT.
His website www.Addstuds.net is in progress.
Marc's Associate's Degree was in Textile Development and Marketing, and he holds a Bachelor's degree in Fabric Styling.
Marc says: "If you're walking out the door and you think you've forgotten something, check to see if you've added studs!"
Marc, CEO of Add Studs (more on his amazing creations in tomorrow's post), sent this photo of two pitbulls, owned by his friend Abby in Pennsylvania. (Pennsylvania is the world's longest US State. Felicia knows this because she drove from Michigan to New York, and 12 hrs of the 13 hour-drive were spent traversing Pennsylvania.) The dogs are funny, because Fenway, the puppy, insists on using Jenga's back as a stool, just like Peaches and Max.
Wanda wanted to meet the canines.
First she said hello to Brooklyn.
Then Dolce wanted attention...
...as usual.
Then Wanda said hello to Maia.
Maia went to Dance with Me Soho after.
Then we all held a dog.
Brooklie wanted down.
And tomorrow, Wanda heads to Rome for a few weeks. The dogs and we will miss her!
Marc Lohan Haynes, CEO of Add Studs, sent TMC a photo of two lovebirds in a park across from his offices at OAK. Dolce wants to play with them.
Maia shoots her best Super-Model pose while lensed by Felicia and styled by photog/NY stylist/designer Takashi. Lensed on location at The Fountainbleau, Miami Beach, for the new July header, which Takashi designed.
Dolce went to the Vivian Tam emporium, under famed 40 Mercer.
Monica, left, and Trish, thought she was cute.
Monica thinks a white, toy Pom would be a perfect dog! Dolce seems to agree.
Maia took a walk in Battery Park, in the Financial District.
Dogs weren't allowed, so Maia had to go undercover to view the Statue of Liberty in the distance.
The park actually has squirrels...
Sacha would have loved it.
It was a great place to celebrate the day before one's birthday...
Dolce took a walk down Broome, in SoHo.
She wandered into the Mango Boutique, between Broadway and Mercer, and met Shanti and Marilla.
And while she was there, Dolce bought a few things to send to Maia!
