It was time to
flâner around the Meatpacking District. It's our favorite area.

We wandered down 9th Street, across from the
Hotel Gansevoort.

We especially loved
Pastis, Keith McNally's French Bistrot. The food is great and the service is better. One of our waiters was, not an actor, but an artist, with a loft studio that overlooked the
Bowery Hotel, another of our favs.

After fries, chicken paillard salad, macaroni and cheese, and a roast beef sandwich, we window shopped.

We love the cobblestone of the Meatpacking District streets, and the low-rise feelings. All with a view of the Hudson.

And we especially loved the wildlife.
Till tomorrow,
Love, Maia
