Fantastic Fendi Fashions

We were at Fendi, visiting Takashi. Maia loved the new, electric blue, miniature Peek-a-boo bag.

Maia also loved the new, strappy shoes.

She sat on the Fendi chair and watched Takashi adjust the black straps.

The black pair ride high.

Zara and Joanne watch the show.

While Melanie holds Maia.

Holly put the show together.

And India shows Taksashi what she wants for her birthday. Dolce said she'd buy it for India if Dolce could get the mink stroller.

Sapporo Snow Festival

As winter storms blanket the East Coast, TMC thought readers would enjoy photos of The Sapporo Snow Festival that takes place in Japan (photos, below).
Closer to home, NYSD featured an article about Shintaro Okamoto and his father Takeo Okamoto, "who are the owners of Okamoto Studio, an ice sculpting enterprise based in Long Island City. Shintaro was born in Japan and raised in Alaska, then moved to New York where his father opened the business while he finished his education(BA from Brown University and an MFA from Hunter College). He is a very serious minded person and as the marketing end behind his family business he has carried it far and wide: a guest appearance on Food Network’s Iron Chef, the Princess of Qatar’s wedding and dozens of posh Bar Mitzvahs." To read more about their ice sculptures, click here.

Nora at Theory in Gansevoort

We stopped by Theory in Gansevoort to see the lovely Nora, who helps Michael sort things out...

She took a shot of the fam together for the last time in a long time.

Michael kept Maia company.

Then Joanne kept Maia company...

And Nora modeled a Theory sweater that India and Felicia both got.

It was good to be back in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan.

Pastis is right across the street.

And Maia can go everywhere with us.

Maia and the Fendi Mink Stroller

Dolce ordered Fendi's special order white mink stroller for Christmas.

But Maia told Felicia, and Felicia canceled the order, and took away Dolce's Black Platinum American Express card.

Now Maia is beginning to see why Dolce wanted the white mink stroller.

She loves it, as long as she doesn't think about the poor minks. The fur is so soft!

But so is the inside of the Fendi Bag du Jour.

Fendi Bag du Jour

We had to make a Fendi run to say hello to Takashi, Eugene and Marc!

Maia was happy to see Takashi again!

Then it was time to buy a purse. But first, we had to make sure it was "Maia-friendly."

But after a lot of help, Maia fit in the Fendi Bag du Jour perfectly.

Now the raspberry Bag du Jour is one of Maia's favorite purses.

Stars & Lunch at Pastis

It was a chilly but sunny day; the view of the cemetery behind our hotel.

We took a chilly walk around Midtown Manhattan.

Then off to Pastis...

...with its menu on the mirror.

Ashton joined us. Demi joined him.

Then I had to find a perfect spot.

We took the usual group photo.

And then everyone tried to make me look at the camera. Felicia laughed at the faces Takashi, Marc, India, Michael, Ashton and Zara made as they tried to get my attention.
