After being gone for a whole month, we all went back to New York City, just in time for the Gay Pride Parade! Takashi was very happy not to work on 5th Avenue the day of the parade, but it was fun to watch.
And then later, I met Baxter, a Brussels Griffon...
...and a Westie...
...and an Akita, all on the way back from Bocca di Bacco.
The next day, I saw this starved-looking Italian greyhound in front of a church on 5th Avenue.
Dolce wanted to read Twilight, but then her attention turned to something more interesting.
A cotton ball!
But what do you do with a cotton ball?
The same thing you do with everything else: shred it!
Here I am, waiting for India to pick me up.
Peaches is always patient. We call him Moufassa.
Brooklyn spends a lot of time asleep.
While Max is wondering where the next meal is.
Usually Dolce sits under the dining room table.
But then there's the pool, when she's outside.
Yesterday she plopped right down on the middle of the pool cover.
And then she got up and wandered around.
Big sister Sacha is uncharacteristically quiet.
It's hard to catch her in a close-up. But she's happy to relax as the sun goes down.

Dolce told me she has already got them on order.
She couldn't decide which bike she liked best, so she bought all three of them!
Brooke took this photo of a cute dog in Hamburg. They say that Germans love their dogs more than their children. I think that makes perfect sense.
I especially like dogs who are across the world from me.
So does Chris, Brooke's fiancé.

Then Sacha and Peaches and I step up.
Then it's Peaches and Dolce while Sacha watches.
Then the four of us play as Max's tail can be seen near the food bowls. Max would rather eat than play, anytime.
Dolce likes to watch things from under things.
Outside in the sun, she prefers to be under the chaise or table, and loves to play hide and seek.
She calls it her "command center."

Or maybe she's hiding from Felicia, who just found out that she ordered 38 Mia bags from Takashi, that she'll be picking up when she's in New York next week?
Felicia heard a noise, turned around, and saw Brooklyn scratching at the wall behind her.
"Brooklie, what are you doing?" she asked.
Later, he was going at it in another corner of the room.
Dolce didn't seem phased, and Brooklyn took a rest.
Then he went at it again.
And kept scratching and sniffing and barking. Maybe there are mice in the walls!
Julie stopped by to hang by the pool.
India took photos of Dream Catchers.
The dogs wandered around checking strange smells in the grass.
Julie gave Brooklyn plenty of attention.
She's practicing for when Mario comes home.
