Mr. Snapper lay by the pool, and since he couldn't get out of the fence, Felicia went inside.
The turtle surveyed the situation.
And then he saw the pool. It looked inviting.
And when Felicia went outside to talk on the phone a few moments later, she saw that Mr. Snapper had made himself right at home. In the water.
Mr. Snapper loved the pool.
But Felicia wanted to swim. And not with the turtle, as much as she likes turtles. So she took a long pool cleaning net, scooped out Mr. Snapper, and put him in the garage. Mr. Snapper was not happy. Felicia closed the garage door and went out to swim. But then she heard a loud noise in the garage.
When she opened the door, she saw that Mr. Snapper had knocked over the vacuum cleaner and was crashing down a ledge.
Later, while Felicia was on the computer, she heard scratching, again, and when she opened the garage door, Mr Turtle fell over. He was on his hind legs trying to get the door open. He'd done it before but this time he was actually on the threshold, standing up! But he fell to the floor when she opened the door.
Felicia thought, well, if he wants in the house that badly, then, let him in.
But Mr. Snapper really didn't know what to do once he got in the house.
Max, however, thought that a house turtle was a fine idea.
Till tomorrow,
Love, Maia
