India told Felicia to keep the dogs away from the turtle.

But she didn't. Max was curious.

Sacha started to approach but the turtle snapped at her and she changed her mind.

I took a more cautious approach.

I assessed the situation from afar.

Then I made my move. The turtle's back end elevated and I removed myself from the situation.

Dolce was her usual devil-may-care self.

Until the turtle began its attack and Dolce backed off in a hurry!

But soon Felicia put the turtle in the pond with the other snapper, and a lazy day by the pool resumed.
