Two days after the release of Snapper #1, Snapper #2 was making its way across the busy road as well. Felicia thinks they all have a death wish. This one also wound up in the car trunk and eventually to the waterfall pond behind Twin Oaks (to the right of India's feet).
But first, it spent a day in the garage.
Felicia fed it but Mr. Turtle didn't seem too interested.
Brooklyn could have cared less, but I was quite curious about the reptile zoo in our back yard. (That's me in the distance on the waterfall rock.)
Rocky and India watched the turtle plan its escape from the pond.
Mr. Snapper didn't seem to want to dive into the depths.
India was afraid it would eat the koi.
But I watched from a distance; it didn't go near the fish.
And eventually it just climbed out and made its escape across the fenced-in yard.
Till tomorrow,
Love, Maia
