British-born Neesha flew in from New York City to spend a few days at Twin Oaks. We went straight from the airport to Meijer--
--where Neesha was happy to find England's #1 tea--PG Tip's!
She paid homage to the famous Sandy, the penny pony ride, with a photo of Fred in the background.
Then to HQ to meet Fred....
...who gave her a signed copy of his book, Fred Meijer: Stories of His Life.
Doug joined us for a photo op.
From there to the office of Executive Asst Sue, and Kim.
Then on to a late lunch with famous award-winning poet, Robert VanderMolen...
...who gave her a signed copy of his book, Water.
Two signed books later, back to Twin Oaks to change, and then to Bluewater to meet the gang.
Pizzas and wine and no signed books later, it was finally time to go home...
...and meet the doggies.
Brooklyn Cruz is Neesha's favorite.
Till tomorrow,
Love, Maia
