We rode up M-22 alongside Grand Traverse Bay, through the town of Sutton's Bay.
Through the rolling hills and past the orchards of northern Michigan wine country...
...to lovely Leland, where we had lunch at the Stone House Bread Café.
We continued our drive past Little Traverse Lake...
...where we saw a black squirrel jump off a log. Sacha would have been out the window!
It was a warm, sunny day as we drove past Little Traverse Lake. Warmer than lower Michigan!
Finally we arrived chez Grandma's house, where we took in the view of the ski hill at The Homestead and Glen Lake, to the south.
Till tomorrow,
Love, Maia
