Slimdog

Hello. My name is Slimdog--Slim for short. I'm a pitbull/Ridgeback mix. My owner, Demond, likes to take glamor shots of me.

Demond served as an Army infantryman for six years, including time in Iraq. We live in Brooklyn, and love to skateboard around town or in Prospect Park.

I'm a little small for my breed, which is why Demond named me Slim. We both love the outdoors.

My favorite things are cuddling and hunting squirrels. Here I am hanging out with Demond and Julia.

We go bouldering and hiking as much as we can.

I'm pretty agile, and it's nothing for me to leap on a five-foot-tall surface. But after the trips we take and the adventures we have, even athletic dogs like me have to take a break.
