It was a dark and stormy night as we headed to northern Michigan to celebrate Brooke's wedding with a party at the cottage.
Brooklyn and I slept the whole way up, three hours.
Even Dolce for a change settled down on Felicia's lap.
The first person we met at the cottage was Phineas, whose owners are Brooke's friends CJ and Ashley.
Holly and Victoria from Devon, England, posed with Ashley and Phineas.
Phineas (with CJ) was much better behaved than most of our family.
India chewed on a piece of gum as Holly pulled a Brooke, behind her big sister. 
Darling Nubby joined us as well! He showed us all how to tube down the Crystal River (more on that tomorrow).
Dinner was lovely, and Chris grilled a wonderful meal. I got to eat some leftovers.
Brooke also served sushi.
And then we all settled in for a talk...
