Here's the back story of our trip to Chicago! We left the house at 8 A.M. Felicia had her coffee, stopped for gas in Benton Harbor, and bought a banana for a mid-morning snack. I waited in the front seat. Felicia couldn't have been happier. We were driving to Chicago, with a full tank of gas, plus plus snacks and coffee, to meet Brooke. I was happy because everyone but me was in the garage, waiting for India to return from work.
We arrived in the Windy City just as Brooke flew in. Brooke had been up for the last 24 hours. She had been in Russia a mere 12 hours before. She met us at the hotel.
Brooke cleaned up extremely well.
We took our usual shot in front of the Peninsula's marble Foo Lions. But Timothy didn't care for that photo, so we moved. It was a beautiful day. And we were going to shop. All that was missing was world peace.
But first, we stopped at Cru, now named something else.
We had a fan.
I wasn't especially interested in making his acquaintance, but Felicia and Brooke thought he was cute.
Till tomorrow,
Love, Maia
