After the "hiding-behind-the-skirts" episode, Mario surprised us.
He hid under the bench for a while, then decided to play with Dolce.
Flattered by the attention, Dolce raced around like a banshee.
I tried hard not to laugh.
Her tail looks like a rooster. Or like Kate Gosselin's hairdo.
And I'm really not sure how attractive it is when she screeches.
Mario tried not to laugh at her. He needed to take a break.
But Dolce didn't care for his relaxed attitude. She yelled at him again!
Then she walked up to him and looked him in the eye.
"Look here, Mario," she said, sternly, putting her hand on his shoulder (or at least, meaning to put her hand on his shoulder. She aimed for his shoulder, but hit his eye).
"You have to get with the program. You're not doing it right." (She finally figured out where his shoulder was. Close to his neck.)
"When I twist and turn like this," she demonstrated to him how she did it...
"...you're supposed to go like this." And she showed him how. Mario watched her intently.
"Okay," she said. "Let's see you try."
Mario turned around, like Dolce had done.
"Like this?" he asked timidly.
Dolce threw her head up and laughed. "Ahh! Yes! Finally! You finally got it right!"
And Mario sat there, relieved and smiling.
Dolce was pleased at her new acolyte. "Maybe you can be my new personal assistant," said Dolce. Brooklyn was a little slow, she thought to herself. But I wonder if Mario likes Fendi?
Till tomorrow,
Love, Maia
