Back into the car and off to the next party! The night has just begun.
We're greeted by our host Sandra's husband Peter, who is involved in bringing the three
Icon Brickell towers to fruition.
Peter leads us through the multi-level entrance area with 100 columns designed and signed by
Philippe Starck. The columns are each unique in size, shape and finish, and modeled after the Maoi structures on Easter Island. All are 22 feet tall.
Famed Miami architects
Arquitectonica, responsible for the Atlantis Condominiums in Miami that were featured prominently in Miami Vice, designed the 1800-unit project. Frenchman Starck brings his distinctive signature style to the interiors.
Peter leads us up the stairs to the party...
...and we begin the night with a trip to the fully-stocked bar, anxious to see the two-acre pool terrace where the party will be held! More tomorrow...
