As our taxi pulled into the
South Beach Marriott, a stretch limo pulled up. It was from
Abe's Limo which Felicia had ordered for all of us as a surprise. We booked it to our room, changed into our party clothes and greeted the limo driver while Felicia picked up some chilled
Veuve Clicquot at the
Deco Blue Bar, for the trip to Art Basel's parties...
The lovely India held

...and the three girls posed in their party attire on the steps of their beautiful Art Deco hotel for their big night out on the town.
And who should be there to greet us but my old friend Andres! (See "Back to the Beginning: The Palm Beach Lifestyle.") Andres is the one who picked me up from Fort Lauderdale's airport one year and eleven months ago! It was so nice to see a familiar Florida face to escort us on the crazy
Art Basel Miami streets. I was glad to see him also, as I would be staying with my favorite caretaker while the girls partied the night away.

It was 7PM and we'd come a long way in the last twelve hours....from a snowstorm and two hour drive with cars off the road...to sitting in Abe's Limo with the wonderful Andres to escort us to Miami's hotspots. We began our big night out with a toast to peace, friendship, and Brooke's upcoming nuptials!
