Deciding to Add Dolce to the Family

While Dolce is "resting comfortably" at the hospital, I thought I'd show you some pictures from Dolce History. Because Felicia has four dogs already, she really didn't want to add to the confusion. But for a couple of years, India and Felicia have been watching the Canon SureShot ads with Maria Sharapova's adorable Dolce, and for a couple of years, they wanted a Pomeranian. So when they saw Dolce in Chicago, they fell in love.


But Felicia wanted to think about it, and not be her usual impulsive self, which sometimes caused her trouble. She took me for a walk in Chicago near the hotel on a visit (that's me in the picture, looking for the perfect spot to do my business, at the dog park by the hotel). And at the dog park, Felicia met Lulu, a Pomeranian whose human lived in a Chicago high-rise. Felicia asked Lulu's owner how he liked Poms, and he told her that he loved having a Pom. So Felicia asked her friend Brooke (see November 1 post) what she thought: should she get another dog or was she crazy to even think about it? Fortunately, Brooke told her to go for it.


Felicia was happy that her Life Coach Brooke told her that, because, one, she really wanted to add Dolce to the family, and two, if it turned out to be a huge mistake, she could blame it on Brooke! Ha ha. But it wasn't a mistake, Dolce was a wonderful addition to the family. She's so spunky and full of personality, and the house is not the same without her little high-pitched shrieks!!
