Thank You Notes!

Today, Dolce wanted me to thank all of Felicia's wonderful friends who were concerned about her during her difficult times. First and foremost, Takashi Matsuzuki, talented NYC make-up artist and photographer (whose photos of the Statue of Liberty are being published on the website of the Japanese equivalent of Time magazine). He must have emailed Felicia every single day (and sometimes two and three times a day!), asking after Dolce and praying for her health. On behalf of Dolce, thank you Takashi! (below, right.)

The awesome artist and Life Coach Brooke Deems (see photo in Nov 1 post) also left messages on Felicia's Facebook wall, asking how "surgery went," saying she "can't wait to meet Dolce," and wanting to "sign her cast." Brooke's lovely sister Holly, linguistic and environmental genius currently working on another advanced degree in Portugal (where she's learning her 18th language fluently) said "Pobrecita!" (in her 17th language) and more. Fashionista to the stars and fellow dog-lover Faith Nemeth gave Felicia advice and comfort along the way and even Mouldi asked about the little ball of fluff, saying "Hope Baby Girl is back home safe and sound!"

You notice that no one is wondering how the rest of Dolce's siblings are reacting to our lack of attention...why does SHE get the good food and things squirted in her mouth every 6 hours? I'm just asking. Here's a picture (above) of Dolce's first bout with snow, the first of the season here in the Midwest (time for South Beach!). Notice the snow in Bear's hair, and the big white flakes floating in front of her. Middle, a picture of Takashi, with me held by India, as well as brainy banker Laura Glick and Reading Consultant Emily DeLiddo (currently catching rays in Palm Beach), at the New York Humane Society party last July! More at a later date about that fun party, which raised money for homeless dogs...woof woof!
